A county in Wyoming is dominated by the Cheyenne Club, a den of wealthy ranchers headed by Colonel Watson. The association funds a clique of self-styled vigilantes to mount false evidence of cattle thefts against the weakest landowners and then exterminate them and grab their ranches! Tex, on a mission in those parts to arrest the bandit Mills, takes the defense of the small farms and throws the corpses of four of his thugs into Watson's luxurious garden! And he discovers that Mills is also among the henchmen of the club's leaders.
