Tex Willer

Tex Willer is a man of the frontier — ranger, adventurer, and adopted chief of the Navajo, bearing the name Eagle of the Night. Born to a family of settlers, Tex's early life was marked by injustice and loss, forging him into a man who fights for what is right with a quick draw, an iron will, and an unshakeable sense of justice. From the deserts of Arizona to the mountains of Mexico, from the streets of Tombstone to the villages of the Navajo nation, Tex rides with his pards: the loyal Kit Carson, his son Kit Willer, and the Navajo warrior Tiger Jack. Together, they take on corrupt politicians, ruthless bandits, renegade soldiers, and the occasional sorcerer — for Tex's West is a place where the mundane and the supernatural coexist. Created by Gianluigi Bonelli and Aurelio Galleppini in 1948, Tex is the flagship of Sergio Bonelli Editore and Italy's longest-running, best-selling comic series. For over 75 years, Tex Willer has embodied the ideal of frontier justice — a hero who is as much a part of Italian popular culture as he is of the American West he inhabits.
