Uomini in guerra

Only a charismatic leader like the cruel Kaimakan, a Huron sachem capable of drawing entire ranks of warriors after him, could assemble an army of Native Americans like the one besieging Fort Crow in a dramatic siege. Hundreds of Indians are ready for a final attack, determined to seize the weapons the soldiers are keeping behind their palisade. A military convoy carrying reinforcements and ammunition to the fort is late in arriving: where has it gone? Any hour could be the last for the besieged, including Zagor and Chico. The Spirit with the Hatchet decides to attempt a desperate feat: to leave the outpost alone in search of help, escaping the pursuit of Kaimakan and his Red Furies.
