Tex Gigante II Serie
Following the success of the TEX GIGANTE I Series series, the publisher decides to launch another reprint that maintains its characteristics. Thus was born the most prolific and long-lived title of Italian comics, which first reprinted the episodes of the strips in full and then, from page 69 of number 96 (October 1968), presented unpublished adventures. After the first numbers printed in a slightly larger size, stapled with a staple and with a foliation of 160 - then 128 - pages, the series stabilized on a format of 16 x 21 cm for 112 paperback pages; characteristics that identify what is now known par excellence as the "Bonellian" format. Of the first seventy-five issues there are more editions, determined in part by their success, in part by the need for self-censorship driven by the moralistic climate that characterized the 1960s. Of the n. 1, "La Mano Rossa", at least five original editions are known. Starting from N. 332 and with irregular periodicity a color advertising insert with a variable number of pages is published as an appendix by the publisher, Il Giornale di Sergio Bonelli.
