Father Clemente, a middle-aged priest, recently reopened the old mission of Santa Esperanza. He teaches reading and writing to the children of the village, and is loved and respected by his faithful. No one knows, however, that his real name is Guillermo Blanco, and that many years before he was the legendary leader of a gang of desperados. He was defeated only once in his life, by another legend of the West: the ranger Tex Willer. The same man who now shows up by chance at her door... Violence seems unwilling to abandon the life of Guillermo Blanco, the outlaw who took the vows and today calls himself Father Clemente. Some old accomplices have decided to blackmail him, kidnapping the kids from his school, to force him to carry out a major robbery. And a part of him seems to have regained a taste for life as an outlaw. Maybe the old desperado never really changed. It will be up to Tex, who chases the gang beyond the borders of Mexico, to find out if Blanco is still a just man or a ferocious bandit!
