On the trail of Frank Harter, a bandit operating in Texas, Kit Carson is captured by the outlaws and held hostage to blackmail Tex, forcing him to help one of their accomplices, Jacky Blount, escape from the Agua Negra prison. Blount hides a secret that the bandits want to reveal: only he knows where the rich loot from a robbery carried out some time before is hidden... Tex has just a few hours left to bring the escaped prisoner Jacky Blount back to his former accomplices and thus free Carson, held hostage by the bandits. A race against time begins, hindered by ruthless enemies and dangers that hide behind every rock, but the Ranger will do anything to save his pard's life!
