With the inglorious end of the Canyon Diablo boss, Tom Clebber, killed by the lead of one of his henchmen, the gang that attacked the dusty town falls apart and the interrupted railway can start again. Some time later, having found an old acquaintance in Springerville, the elderly sheriff Tom Kenyon, Tex offers to support him in the capture of a young bandit, the blond Andy Wilson. The outlaw, who is hiding among the cowboys of the Double B Ranch, escapes after seriously wounding the tin star! Tex finds him and confronts him on the Skeleton Trail, in the Las Piedras desert.
