Ely Donehogawa, an Iroquois Indian, was appointed Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Ken Parker goes to Washington to talk to him about a problem: traces of silver and zinc have been found on the Fort Smith Dakota reservation, so there is a need for an agent to protect the interests of the Indians.
