In the times of swords and furious hand-to-hand battles they were almost considered heroes... indomitable and ferocious warriors who nothing and no one could have stopped. But now, in modern-day Norway, individuals marked by the “bear curse” are just a shame to hide. Roald Thornsen is one of these unfortunates, housed in a sort of hospital-prison, in the Helgeland region, but someone decides to send him a letter for Christmas. A letter from England, which will lead the poor "bear warrior" to cross paths with that of Dylan Dog! Nothing better than a good board game to spend a quiet evening with friends. Unless the colorful box containing "The Lord of the Elements" comes from a strange and disturbing little shop that appears and disappears... Do the names of Safarà and the sulphurous Hamlin mean anything to you? To Dylan yes, and if it were up to him that box wouldn't even have to be opened. But this time it's the Game that dictates the rules. And the number one rule is that no player can abandon the game… Don't have a personality? Do you feel like zeros cubed? Do they step on your toes on the tram without apologizing? It's time to say enough, to rebel, to grab the reins of your existence! Professor Emerick Boyle has discovered a remedy capable of transforming a Mr. Nobody into a Mr. Someone: with Disempathy, anyone can release their aggression and Emerick Boyle knows how to find the right key. But there is a small problem: some followers of Disempathy have perhaps shown too much determination, therefore, the Nightmare Investigator has no choice but to attend Boyle's course to find out what can happen when a man decides to follow the Law of the Jungle...

Don't have a personality? Do you feel like zeros cubed? Do they step on your toes on the tram without apologizing? It's time to say enough, to rebel, to grab the reins of your existence! Professor Emerick Boyle has discovered a remedy capable of transforming a Mr. Nobody into a Mr. Someone: with Disempathy, anyone can release their aggression and Emerick Boyle knows how to find the right key. But there is a small problem: some followers of Disempathy have perhaps shown too much determination, therefore, the Nightmare Investigator has no choice but to attend Boyle's course to discover what can happen when a man decides to follow the Law of the Jungle.... Professor Emerick's courses are always crowded. Moreover, it cannot be said that his method for teaching "disempathy", unleashing the latent ferinity in each of us, is ineffective. Even a convinced pacifist like Dylan, thanks to the advice of the illustrious teacher, can transform himself into a killing machine, indifferent and insensitive towards the suffering of others, in short, a true champion of our times, governed by the imperative of competition and victory at all costs. Luckily, the Nightmare Investigator manages to escape the influence of Emerick and Mazua, the evil idol who inspires him And his choice, like all courageous choices, will not remain without effects!
