The mutant's daughter, Sophie Randall, comes to Darkwood in search of Zagor. Along the way he killed dozens of victims in a horrific way: forcing them to commit suicide with his terrible telepathic power. Now he finds the village of Tonka on the trail, where the Spirit with the Hatchet tries everything to stop her from doing any more harm! In the second part of the issue, a new adventure begins with a community of ex-slaves who have escaped from the plantations of the South, which clashes with the inhabitants of a nearby town.
