L'oro di Re Mida

Legend has it that Midas, king of Phrygia, had received from Dionysus the ability to transform everything he touched into gold. Later, realizing that this would lead to his death from starvation, Midas begged the god to free him from his power, and the latter, moved with pity, complied. Three thousand years later, the Detective of the Impossible comes across an unusual mystery: someone has flooded the New York book market with thousands of ancient volumes, and someone else is willing to do anything, even kill, to round them up. The investigation takes Martin Mystère very far in space and time, to the mythical King Midas!
