Martin Mystère and Java are in Poland, where they arrived in an attempt to shed light on the incredible story that saw the writer Ian Potocki as the protagonist at the beginning of the nineteenth century. After passing into the "world of the unborn", Potocki was incarnated into a ferocious wolf that haunted the hills, and was finally able to return to human. But in what way? This is what Martin tries to discover, for the sake of his friend Manny Gould... In the same issue, a new story begins, where Martin wakes up in a remote location in Sweden.
