Jerusalem, 8th century BC. An inscription announcing the forthcoming conquest of the city by the Assyrians suddenly appears on one side of a hexagonal prism kept in the temple. Baghdad, 2003. Saddam Hussein's regime falls and American troops enter the Iraqi capital. Someone sacks the National Museum: not just soldiers in search of riches, but "specialists" with a specific mission, to recover at all costs a prism built in the remote past. And when Martin Mystère has the opportunity to examine it, he will discover something that will plunge him into horror and despair.
