The sets of a new film have been set up at the Garden Studios: a B-Movie that hits the headlines for a terrible bloody event. Dominic Haslett, the film's screenwriter, was killed by a shot from what was supposed to be a gun loaded with blanks. The ballistic and dynamic analysis of the accident supports the hypothesis that it was a homicide. But, no matter how bad a film may be, no one deserves to die for writing it... Julia begins to investigate Haslett's past and soon stories of rivalries and conflicts, loves and resentments emerge which widen the circle of possible culprits...
