Julia
Julia Kendall is a criminologist and criminal profiler living in the fictional American city of Garden City. Intelligent, empathetic, and deeply analytical, Julia uses her understanding of the human mind to unravel complex crimes — not with guns or fists, but with psychological insight and relentless observation. Unlike most Bonelli protagonists, Julia is defined not by action but by thought. Her cases are puzzles of human behavior — stories of jealousy, obsession, desperation, and madness. She works closely with law enforcement, but her true weapon is her ability to see the world through the eyes of both victim and perpetrator. Created by Giancarlo Berardi and published monthly since 1998, Julia is one of the longest-running and most critically acclaimed Bonelli series — a mature, psychologically rich crime series that proves the detective story can be as much about understanding human nature as solving mysteries.
