the first three issues are presented by the publisher as special books by CAPITAN FORTUNA (CF) (Rino Albertarelli), actually they come out as ALBO AUDACE nos. 393bis, 394bis and 395 (but these numbers bear cover dates different from those of the books nos. 393/394 which continue to publish the exploits of FURIO by Bonelli / Cossio) and reprint the tables already appeared on ALBO AUDACE from n. 366 (October 4, 1941) under no. 390 (March 12, 1942), but now with captions.
The N. 4 collects the first three in reprint and completes the cycle of CAPITAN FORTUNA.
The two books of ORLANDO (OR) are then released in a larger format: n. 5 (June 24, 1942) bears the caption ALBO AUDACE n. 338bis (with date canceled: May 31, 1942) and reprint the plates already appeared on ALBO AUDACE from n. 356 (26 July 1941), with the first tables of Vittorio Cossio redesigned by Rino Albertarelli; and n. 6 (July 2, 1942) bearing the words ALBO AUDACE n. 339bis (with deleted date: 30 June 1942). Covers by Enrico Bagnoli, Rino Albertarelli and Vittorio Cossio.
Meanwhile on ALBO AUDACE, from n. 403 to n. 413, the exploits of ORLANDO, following the first two special books (here called n. 5 and n. 6) have taken the place of those of FURIO, which then resume with n. 414.
In this period three other supplements are released:
the seventh (suppl. AUDACE n. 1) with the episode of FURIO (FU) “Nel ventre del colossus” which acts as a link between the adventure interrupted on n. 401 and taken up on no. 414.
the eighth (suppl. Audace n. 2) and the ninth (suppl. AUDACE n. 3) which conclude the cycle of ORLANDO.
The tenth is a volume of 176 pages that re-proposes Furio's adventure in Mongolia (nos. 385/399). 6 (July 2, 1942) bearing the words ALBO AUDACE n. 339bis (with deleted date: 30 June 1942). Covers by Enrico Bagnoli, Rino Albertarelli and Vittorio Cossio.
