The sinister Lord Jethro, dark lord of an island in the archipelago, hates the young witch Moon and the foxes with whom the girl has an empathic and telepathic bond: the animals seem to embody the very soul of the Island, a sort of "spirit" of the place. The final clash between Jethro's henchmen and Zagor, alongside Moon, will clarify the origins of the hatred towards the girl. Then, around the corner, here is the return of Zagor and Chico to Darkwood, after the long trip to South America: someone, however, has prepared a very unpleasant welcome...
