George Ferguson is a rancher who has suffered repeated cattle thefts. He has located the thieves hideout and wants Zagor to lead his private army there: a platoon of samurai brought from distant Japan, where Ferguson had lived for many years. They are commanded by the skilled prince Okada Minamoto and easily slaughter the raiders.

But Zagor senses the almond‑eyed warriors have far darker plans in mind… In fact the samurai begin attacking villages and massacring the Native people. They obey Ferguson, who colluding with Major Barry, intends to drive the tribes away to seize a rich silver deposit in the area.

Zagor then gathers a band of warriors and trains them to face the samurai, masters of combat. He leads them in a raid on the enemy ranch. The result is a final battle and a duel between the tomahawk and the saber, from which the tomahawk emerges honorably victorious!
