The pards are heading towards Florida in forced stages with the aim of annihilating the Kingdom of the Great Serpent! Meanwhile, the shady Dambo, lieutenant of Baron Samedi and companion of the priestess Loa, has the Seminoles' camp burned because they had refused to ally themselves with the followers of voodoo. Tex and his men are also the subject of numerous attacks, but nothing, not even the sudden and threatening spirit appearance of Mephisto, can induce them to desist.
