Sam and the Juric children enter the desert of New World, headed for possible salvation. But in that nothingness made of rock and sand they end up in the least safe place for them... a black cathedral in which the cult of the Severe Mother is professed, the one who for some is the savior of humanity and, for the two children, the center of the mystery linked to their past: Jsana Juric.
