Orfani

When alien forces devastate Earth, the survivors are few — and among them are children. Orphaned by the attack, these children are taken by the government and forged into elite soldiers: trained from childhood to fight, to kill, and to reclaim what was lost. They are the Orfani — the orphans — and they are humanity's last weapon. But the war is not what it seems. As the Orfani grow from children into battle-hardened warriors, they begin to question the orders they follow, the leaders they serve, and the truth behind the invasion that destroyed their world. What began as a story of survival becomes a story of conspiracy, betrayal, and the search for identity. Created by Roberto Recchioni and Emiliano Mammucari and published in full color since 2013, Orfani broke new ground for Bonelli — a multi-season military science fiction saga with a complex, serialized narrative and a visual style unlike anything the publisher had attempted before.
