Legs Weaver, due to a faulty flyer, is forced to land at Niagara False, one of the last outposts of civilization, where she runs into her ex-sergeant Pepe Hortera, who has in the meantime become federal commissioner. Hortera reveals to her that he accepted the job in the hope of recovering the Paloma Blanca cargo ship that crashed in those parts years earlier, with a cargo worth billions and never found. Legs will soon discover that Pepe Hortera is not the only one interested in the research...
