Sudan in fiamme

In Sudan torn apart by the civil war between the government and the Rapid Support Forces (the former Janjaweed, old enemies of our heroes), the hunt for Merlin's swords breaks out. Azara kidnaps the archaeologist Matthew Shady to help her with the research, but his wife Samantha must also find her adopted son Amin, a nurse on the Medical Team, who has been kidnapped and forcibly recruited by the RSF! Therefore our heroes are divided: Tesla and Kurjak against the ferocious followers of the Prophet and Harlan grappling with the beautiful and elusive vampire, while in the background Vathek, Renaut de Montauban and another mysterious Master loom… In the hell of Sudan in the throes of civil war, Matthew Shady helps Azara to find the magical swords Durandal and Flamberge among the ancient ruins of vanished kingdoms, while Harlan chases them and Samantha, with the help of Tesla and Kurjak, tries to free her adopted son Amin from the Janjaweed. Amin, however, has deserted and, hunted for war crimes, is hiding in the besieged city of Al Fashir... Also hunting him is the dangerous major of the rebel forces, Rashad Musa, who himself is hiding a dark secret, finding himself under the orders of a mysterious Master of the Night...
