Dampyr

Harlan Draka grew up believing he was a fraud — a man who made his living pretending to be a "dampyr," a half-vampire with the power to destroy the undead. Traveling through the war-torn Balkans, he performed fake exorcisms for superstitious villagers. Then, one night, the vampires came for real — and Harlan discovered that everything he had pretended to be was true. The son of Draka, one of the most powerful Masters of the Night, Harlan is a dhampir: half human, half vampire, with the unique ability to resist the undead's power and destroy them. Accompanied by the German soldier Kurjak and the vampire Tesla, he travels across Europe and beyond, hunting the Masters of the Night and the ancient evils they have unleashed upon the world. Created by Mauro Boselli and Maurizio Colombo and published monthly since 2000, Dampyr weaves together horror, history, and Balkan folklore into one of Bonelli's most richly layered modern series.
