Throughout his life Gilles Sullivan has always been too afraid to face the truth about the world around him. In doing so he became a weak man, exploited by his employer, misunderstood by his colleagues, abandoned by his wife and, finally, even snubbed by Dylan Dog. A gray and sad existence that comes to a turning point when Sullivan enters the congregation of the Reverend Sunbeauty, who shows his disciple the way to the "celestial vision". A painful journey which is the only means to be truly free to see inside oneself where, however, hidden in the depths of one's conscience or perhaps in the darkness of one's past, terrifying demons can hide!
