A wandering bard, looking for food and rest, stops in an inn and offers his services to customers sitting at the tables: what better opportunity to listen to epic ballads of knights and dragons? But not by a long shot! The beautiful innkeeper - who Dragonero readers have already met in a previous story... but for now let's keep her identity confidential! - he has very clear ideas: he doesn't want to hear about war, but about love! And this is how, between the light notes of the lute and the fluted voice of the bard, the story of Myrva's first love takes shape, a poignant story intertwined with other and more dramatic events which always see Dragonero's sister as the protagonist. But, before the surprising finale of the book, where we will discover the hidden intentions of the crafty bard, there is also time for a trip to the Enclave of the Great Lakes, to learn something more about Sheda's past and the origins of her house. This second story, again told by the bard, is in direct continuity with "The Nun's Tale", originally published in issue no. 11, “The Queen of the Algenti” and describes, precisely, what happened to Sheda once she returned home… where she was certainly not welcomed with open arms!
