L'anello di fuoco

The Ring of Fire is a vast marine area, south of Vhâcondàr, where a powerful civilization once stood, wiped out by a volcanic cataclysm in ancient times. Now the area is inhabited, on its borders, by various populations who find fish in abundance and rare materials to trade... such as a volcanic sediment similar to coal mixed with tuff which seems to effectively repel the Abominations and which would therefore be perfect for filling the containment ditches around the nughrachâve! Ian and Hecuba leave with a flying caravan to try to obtain the precious material, but, in addition to the difficulties of the dangerous journey into unknown territories, they will also have to overcome the hostility of the warlike native populations...
