Albo d'Oro Audace I Serie

On February 28, 1943, the Redazione Audace finally made its debut with a new title; it was called Serie d'Oro Audace and then from N. 2 renamed into Albo d'Oro Audace.
In practice, a collection in small format books (such as the Albo Audace), which collected the most beloved adventures of the leading characters of L'Audace.

It comes out on newsstands from February 28, 1943 to the April 1944.

The series consists of 13 numbered and 2 unnumbered issues and reprints adventures appeared on the Audace, as well as three unpublished ones (N. 1, N. 3 and N. 13). The last two issues of the series are undated and presumed to have been printed in first half of 1944.
Within the series, the two text-only novels "Nei mari del Sud" and "Diavolo Bianco" by Mario Caroli have been published in installments.

The first number is legendary and its layout / heading is very reminiscent of that of the Albo Audace magazine.
It contains the first part of the adventures of Orlando and the giant Morgante.

NOTES FOR COLLECTORS
There are two versions of issue 1, one with the words "Serie d'Oro" in the title box on the cover and the other without.
The stickers of the Audace Prize Competition are printed in the first three numbers on the last page.
