In the African state of Zirma, Steven Birko, a local political leader, is murdered by militias under the astonished eyes of two reporters; the two, however, managed to document the brutal attack with a camera... Thus begins an intense manhunt, to prevent the diffusion of the photos and the inevitable scandal that would result from compromising the delicate political balance of the country and calling into question the puppet government of President Burbank, a puppet in the hands of the multinationals who have divided up the resources, especially water, of the Zirma.
