Audace I.D.E.A. N. 325
(no title)
With the Audace N ° 324 of 28 March 1940, Lotario Vecchi forever ceases his activity as a comic book publisher in Italy. The magazine is sold to Gian Luigi Bonelli and Dante Daini, two former employees, who make up the new publishing house IDEA.
The duo completely renew the magazine, which goes from 8 to 12 pages. (As always half in color). Pages are not stampled. However, the price rises to 60 cents. The newspaper hosts all new series, made by top-level designers.
N ° 325 comes out on newsstands November 30, 1940. (after 8 months of downtime of the magazine).
The quality of the stories and the print quality are unquestionably high, since IDEA prints in the workshops that work for Mondadori.
The Audace IDEA Period will last only 6 issues, before the company's economic bankruptcy occurs.
After this short period, Bonelli and Daini separate.
The 6 issues of the IDEA period are of extraordinary rarity. They constitute 6 of the key numbers of all L'AUDACE.
