Audace N. 393 and 394 came out in two versions.
Even if they are published with the same number, the 2 numbers dedicated to Captain Fortuna are conventionally called "BIS". The fact that those dedicated to Capitan Fortuna are considered "BIS", depends only on the fact that the following N. 395 is the continuation of the adventure of the two BIS numbers, and therefore in order not to fragment the stories of Furio first and then of Fortuna, they have been cataloged like this.

The 3 numbers of Capitan Fortuna (393bis, 394bis and 395), even if belonging to the regular series of Audace, are
calculated as respectively the N. 1-2-3 of the series of "Supplementi Audace" of the 1942.
Series of Supplements which includes 10 absolutely different publications, both in content and format.

Supplement with stories of Captain Fortuna come out with the following dates:

01- (02.04.'42) "Capitan Fortuna" (N. 393 Bis de Audace)

02- (09.04.'42) "The revenge of Furtuna" (N. 394 Bis de Audace)

03- (16.04.'42) "The island of mystery" (N. 395 Bis de Audace) ... those that are considered the books of the regular series (with the stories of Furio) come out with dates later than those of the Supplements themselves. Thus,  the 393bis is dated 02.04.'42 while the 393 regular 23.04.'42 the 394bis is dated 09.04.'42 while the 394 regular 30.04.'42 the 395 seems to have come out in a single version, the one with the episode by Capitan Fortuna as it N. 395 was never found with Furio. The most accepted hypothesis remains that N. 395 is the same and that it is calculated both in the Supplements and in the regular series.

This three bis numbers reprint the Capitan Fortuna tables already appeared on Audace from N. 366 (October 4, 1941) until N. 390 (March 12, 1942), but now without the clouds and with the captions. This "change" was, as known to pre-war collecting experts, an imposition by the Ministry of Popular Culture. In fact, during the final stages of the Fascist thirty-year period, with the worsening of relations with the USA and Great Britain, the clouds considered to be their extremely diseducating "invention" and were prohibited.

This number is extremely difficult to find.
