L’isola dei Demoni

This story takes place after Madame Laveau! a connection hinted at when a drunken sailor in the tavern claims to have recently heard that Zagor had been spotted in New Orleans before heading off to Africa. Fishleg’s tale is a flashback to the time following La taverna del Gufo, weaving together old legends, monstrous apparitions, betrayal, and a deadly treasure hunt set against the backdrop of a volcanic eruption.
 

The ship's company of the Golden Baby and Honest Joe's ruffianly crew meet up in a tavern in Port Whale. There, Captain Fishleg tells of an adventure he had with Zagor years before, togheter with Virginia and his men off the cost of Labrador. During the voyage they disembarked on a mysterious island not indicated on the map but remembered in the legends: Demon Island, said to be populated bu monsters... and not only by these beings! Back on land, they have to deal with the sailors headed by Erik Rasmussen, captain of the "Sea Wolf": these saiolors all gallows-birds of the very worst kind, just like their captain. The two crews are vying to discover a treasure, admist monstrous ghosts, betrayals and volcanic eruptions...
