Zagor Raccoltina Collana Lampo

Zagor Raccoltina Collana Lampo, whose comics were called raccolta (these comics were obtained from unsold copies of the strip edition so that two original comics were bound each and new covers were put on them (a total of 35 were published). These covers were obtained by editing the existing covers . Sometimes the results were disastrous, because parts of the backgrounds and parts of the drawings would be erased. But sometimes, with the addition of other backgrounds and distinctive titles, which were hand-drawn by cartoonists from the editorial office, those covers looked good as a whole. Looking at the original cover drawings from that period it is noted that for the collections the original drawing was irreversibly cut and remounted, and the bases were whitened with white tempera (or simply cut away) to make room for the titles, which were often large in size.

Undated, the collections are published as a supplement to the Lampo Series between the end of 1962 and the end of 1965. Announced, but never published, n. 36 “The Ghost Squadron”.
