Ut

Humanity is gone. The Earth belongs to new species now — creatures that resemble humans but are governed entirely by primal instinct. Among them is UT, an elementary, ferocious, and infantile being, entrusted by the entomologist Decio with guarding an ancient tomb. But UT understands nothing of duty, purpose, or the world he inhabits. In a landscape of ruins and rebirth, where the remnants of human civilization are slowly consumed by nature and new life, UT stumbles through existence — violent, confused, and strangely compelling. The series is a meditation on what remains when intelligence is stripped away and only instinct survives. Created by Corrado Roi with texts by Paola Barbato and published in 2016 as a six-issue miniseries, UT is one of Bonelli's most experimental and visionary works — a xenofiction that blends metaphysics, surrealism, and horror into something entirely its own.
