Lukas emerges from the grave with no memory of who he was, driven by an insatiable hunger for human flesh. He is a Ridestato — one of the reawakened dead — in a city where these creatures live hidden alongside unsuspecting humans, organized into a brutal hierarchy ruled by primal instinct. But Lukas is different. He is the only Ridestato who still feels — compassion, confusion, even love. When he forms a bond with a human girl named Bianca, he becomes a target for the leader of the undead, who unleashes the most ruthless killers against him. Caught between two worlds, Lukas must discover who he was in life and what he can become in death. Created by Michele Medda and Michele Benevento and published across two seasons of 12 issues each (2014-2015), Lukas blends urban fantasy, noir, and horror into a story about humanity found in the most inhuman of circumstances.
