Gea

Gea is a young Roman woman leading an ordinary life in the Eternal City — until the day she discovers she possesses the extraordinary ability to perceive and combat interdimensional creatures that threaten Earth. These beings, invisible to normal eyes, slip through cracks between realities, and Gea is the only one who can stop them. Far from a traditional superhero, Gea is impulsive, irreverent, and deeply human. She fights her battles in the streets of contemporary Rome, juggling the demands of her supernatural calling with the challenges of everyday life — relationships, work, and the struggle to remain sane in an insane situation. Created by Luca Enoch and published from 1999 to 2007 for 18 issues, Gea is a unique entry in the Bonelli canon — an urban fantasy with a strong female protagonist that blends Italian daily life with cosmic horror.
