First part of the team-up with Nathan Never which continues and concludes in NN N. 402 - 404.

Conclusion of the crossover with Martin Mystere that began in MM N. 417 Crossover. Mister Jinx, Robot Martin Mystere, and other alternate versions of Nathan Never and Martin Mystere also appear.

Beside team-up with Martin Mystere other alternate versions of Zagor and Dragonero also appear. There is also a reference to Zagor's Wendigo and Kiki Manito.

There is a reference to Dampyr's Naphidim.

To save our future, Special Agent Alpha must travel to the past. Joining him on his mission are Amazonian pilot Jerry Drake, better known as Mister No and the Detective of the Impossible Martin Mystère!

The adventure sees Nathan and May grappling with the results of the actions of a mad British scientist named Robert Greystorm , actions recounted by the same authors in "Ex Vitro Vita".

Dylan Dog and Martin Mystère reunite again.

Zagor serves as the essential counterpart in the story, embodying the eternal struggle of good versus evil that has continued since the dawn of time.

The episode also contains several direct references to Zagor’s mythology, including Kiki Manitu, professor Hellingen, Zagor himself, and his enchanted axe. One of the present-day characters is also implied to be a descendant of Many-Eyes who was a powerful shaman, and the chest containing Zagor’s axe also holds the distinctive spectacles that are his trademark.

Pages 182–183: The dedication pages pay tribute to several Bonelli heroes: Dampyr, Dragonero, Gea, Il Piccolo Ranger, Occhio Cupo and Furio with Agent V.T.7 “L’Inafferrabile”.

The inclusion of Furio and Agent V.T.7 is particularly significant, as they were the protagonists of the first Bonelli team-up ever published, which appeared in 1942 in the pages of the weekly magazine Audace N. 400 - 415 La grande avventura.
