Le montagne di ghiaccio

The ship "Endurance" - on which Dexter Green, Yambo and the agent of Elsewhere Lambert are boarded - manages to leave towards Antarctica, shortly before being reached by the "Marilena" in the port of Punta Arenas. Zagor seems to have reached the end of the line, without the hunt for Green having ended with his capture... but Hilario and his other sailor friends offer to throw themselves in the wake of the fleeing ship! The two boats thus engage in a race of speed and audacity. A race which, however, risks leaving both crews imprisoned in the freezing Antarctic sea... Zagor and Chico enter the heart of Antarctica following Dexter Green's trail. These, with the men of Captain Templeton's ship "Endurance" and agent Lambert from the Altrove base, are looking for an ancient Atlantean city, buried in the ice. While the expedition led by the archaeologist is about to reach the point indicated by ancient maps, however, mysterious and threatening presences seem to be wandering among the frozen mountains of the Southern Continent... Dexter Green and the men who accompany him, including Agent Lambert, envoy from "Elsewhere", penetrate the buildings of a forgotten city, a lost colony of the Atlantis empire. Thanks to the "Key of Knowledge", they manage to access the ancient laboratories of a scientific base. When the Spirit with the Hatchet reaches Green, there is no time for a showdown: both find themselves facing an unexpected danger... among the antediluvian ruins lurks a threat capable of spreading throughout the world and exterminating all of humanity: its name is Shayogan!
