Briganti

1894. In Rome, Ugo has changed jobs, he is employed by a notary who manages the fortunes of many important families. One evening, on his way home, he is attacked by a handful of street criminals. Vittorio De Cesari, a cavalry officer, defends him, saber in hand and puts the bad guys to flight. A deep friendship is born between Ugo and Vittorio. The officer is the young scion of a noble family who owns an estate in the Castelli Romani. Vittorio chooses Ugo as his administrator.
