The pards and Montales, with Cobra Galindez and the faithful Father Elías, free Tex from the governorship of Chihuahua, unaware that they are falling into a trap! Galindez is in fact a traitor, who exchanged his immunity for the skin of Montales, destined to perish with the gringos during an ambush at the Corvada mine, guaranteed by the vile bandit as a safe hideout. However, Cobra did not reckon with his lover, Conchita, who had heard him plotting with the conspirators. And now, despite being incarcerated, she manages to warn Father Elias, who rushes to raise the alarm so that the plot fails!
