New Orleans, caught in a grip of silence, has become unlivable due to a criminal racket, the River Gang, led by the sinister Rod Rever, gambler and owner of a couple of boats, accustomed to threatening and extorting small river owners. Tex and Carson, after having heavily thinned out the dangerous clique of scoundrels, sink Rever's lair, the Florida boat, a floating gambling den full of chickens to be plucked, with a shower of sticks of dynamite. New Orleans breathes fresh air again!
