El Lobo, a hardened cattle thief, operates on the border between Mexico and the United States with a pack of Yaqui and Comanche raiders. Tex and Carson make an agreement with the Rurales and attack El Lobo's hideout. The bandit is thus captured and, after having his minion spit out the names of the contact persons for the sale of the herds, the pards head for Agua Prieta to flush out the slimy Herrera, an accomplice of the raiders. However, in a sordid saloon, the two rangers are unmasked and studded with lead. Once the firefight is resolved, Tex gallops towards the ranch of Safford, one of the leaders of the gang, and attacks!

Ruby Stoddard, after trying to kill the pards and Matt Randall, is passed off by Tex. And the evil Willie, who had betrayed Randall's affection by planning the murder of his son John, missing for years, is slaughtered by his own prey, the wild boy. And when the ferocious wolves surround the expedition's bivouac, a young blond-haired beast leaves the pack and is reunited with his father! Months later, Tex and Carson find the mangled corpse of the Navajo Natanis and chase the executioners, a handful of renegade Indians, refugees in the ghost town of San Vicente.
