Lungo Coltello, defeated in a melee, tries to stab Tex treacherously, paying for his cowardice with death. Some time later, a ferocious band of Thugs, who fled from Bombay following the cruel Raymangan, terrorizes the Brazoria forest and the US coasts of the Gulf of Mexico, kidnapping girls to sacrifice to the goddess Kali and luring ships onto the rocks to plunder them, after having strangled their passengers. The pards, who have arrived in Galveston for the investigations, are followed by the crew of Captain McMurdo, a shady smuggler in league with the stranglers.
