The raids of the young Cheyenne Long Knife, flanked by the Stonehead sakem, risk sparking an Indian war. The redskins attack a wagon from Gorman's ranch and kidnap his daughter Lisa, escaping Tex and Carson's colts. The pards, having reached the farm, resisted the ferocious assaults of the rebels until the arrival of the cavalry. Tex then aims at the Testa di Pietra camp to obtain the girl's release and avoid the army's intervention, but Lungo Coltello does not give in and suffers a humiliating defeat in a duel at the hands of Aquila della Notte.
