While the pards and the men of the Roswell expedition work with pickaxes to bring the submerged Aztec temple to light, in search of the fabulous treasure that is kept there, a swarm of Mexican desperados allied with the unknown saboteur is ready to attack! Tex and his companions thwart the threat and at the top of the disturbing teocalli the traitor's mask finally falls! Some time later, near the Rio Bravo, the pards hunt down two infamous whiskey merchants and their bloodthirsty Mescalero companion: three dangerous thugs, smugglers, thieves, murderers and kidnappers of girls.
