Following the massacres carried out by the Yellow Dog Utes, allied with the ferocious Hualpai, the Navajos begin to retreat, leaving scorched earth behind! Meanwhile, Tex and Carson, after having beaten Big Cisco well to make him spit out the names of his accomplices, set the Oraibi trading post on fire. Then they focus on Farmington, a den of swindlers. In the meantime, the fleeing Navajos heroically resisted the furious attacks of the Hualpai and Utes on Devil Pass, massacring their enemies.

Tex and Carson head for Nogales, where the rest of Big Tatum's gang reunites with other accomplices, the treacherous deputy director of the Southern Bank and Paco Cardena, a Mexican desperado. Unfortunately for them, instead of the gold they were counting on grabbing on a security train, they will have to settle for vile lead! The following summer, a pair of arms and whiskey dealers agree with Big Cisco of the Oraibi trading post to peddle their goods to the rabid Utes of Cane Giallo... and Big Cisco convinces the sakem to attack the Navajos and their leader Night Eagle!
