The villain that Tex and Tiger Jack had handed over to the sheriff of Virginia City has escaped and tries to take them out, but only managing to wound the elderly wagon driver Fred Lindeman. The two pards thus agree to lead the convoy organized by an expedition of paleontologists headed north, to the Klamaths Indian tribe, to reunite with a colleague. The caravan includes the quarrelsome Lacey, quicker with the whip than with the tongue, and Tex has a lot to do calming down their hot spirits, especially when the menacing shadow of the Sasquatch looms over the group!
