The ruthless breeder Paul Balder, known as El Carnicero, is furious: despite the money generously poured into the hands of the bandido Macho and his desperados to terrorize the owners of the neighboring haciendas, he is unable to drive away Tex and Carson, who have meanwhile reunited with Kit and Tiger Jack! After the fire set by the pards at the bunkhouse on his farm, Balder finances the intervention of the Red Wolves, a pack of ferocious Yaquis but, before he can deploy them, the rangers devastate his ranch, causing it to be razed to the ground by a rampaging herd!

While the abyss of hell opens up for Paco Cardenas, his brother José, overwhelmed by a herd of rampaging cattle, expires asking for forgiveness from Father Matías, the friar whom the two had killed to steal the treasure of the Santa Cruz mission. Some time later, near Nogales, the former scalp hunter Paul Balder - known as El Carnicero - enlarges his ranch by having a gang of hooded men chase away the honest neighboring farmers. Tex and Carson pose as the new owners of one of the farms.
