A pack of Hualpai marauders bring the wise Navajo sorcerer Hatuan to death to steal a wooden fetish that contains a mysterious crystal idol that releases an energy of unknown origin. The evil Thulsar commissioned the ignoble raid dreaming of becoming the most powerful shaman in the area, and to purify the passage of the relic into his hands, the infamous man is convinced that he must sacrifice a young Indian woman...
