The satanic Yama, posing as the incarnation of Kukulcan and holed up in a teocalli in the Yucatan jungle, repels with arcane forces some desperados intent on grabbing the diamonds with which he pays for weapons and supplies. Meanwhile, the pards arrive in Mexico and obtain from Montales a skilled guide to flush out the sorcerer from the forests in which he takes refuge together with the Mayan descendant Manuela Romero and his faithful Matías. But Mephisto, from the abyss of hell, warns his son of the danger! Yama turns into a disembodied spirit and lures Tiger Jack into a trap.
